Phew.

I had to force myself to stop. This was the product of losing my realistic Natalia piece to computer errors.

I can't begin to describe how much time went into this. It certainly feels like eons.

This may be the last 'realistic piece' I do for a while; I have plenty of hand-done comics and doodles that need uploading, and this sapped all my creative energy.

This is a combination piece. One, I wanted to work on my weaknesses. Backgrounds, full body poses... odd... fictional animals?

Two, I figured Coral Castle, and all its spooky ambiance, would be a nice way to welcome in Halloween.

I worked on concepts for this piece, and re-worked them. I'll put a link here in a moment to one was fond of, that I'll stick in my scraps. Uploaded Now. Here is an example of sample doodlekins when going for what the facial features might/should be like. One of many.: [link]

The 'head shots' helped a lot in doing this, and I feel I finally did the characters some... iota of justice? Luke's face was redone twelve times before I was pleased with it.

Making Mieu realistic is a logistical nightmare.

I know I'll rework this a few times, but until then, glad to be finished.

ALSO: said she would be interested in a tutorial on how I draw hair with Photoshop. Any other takers? If so, I may upload it, if not, I'll just note her personally with the method. Hair is easy and fun, so that kind of a tutorial I wouldn't mind.
